St. Jude Fitness for a Cure Event Surpasses Goal

For more than 40 years, Windsor Marketing Group has worked with clients to help craft targeted, in-store marketing efforts to bolster their retail businesses. Apart from its work in the advertising sector, Windsor Marketing Group supports numerous charitable organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

For the past 18 years, Fitness for a Cure has served as a major fundraising event for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The March 2017 event set a goal of $440,000 to help support the hospital’s efforts but was able to surpass that goal, raising $507,000 in donations. The event featured several sponsors, including Flexecution, Inc. and MACOM, as well as SLS Fitness, who was able to bring in $40,000 alone from employee donations.
With the theme Dedicated to Danny’s Dream, the event featured a day of activities catered toward children, as well as an auction and evening gala. The auction item that brought in the most money was a St. Maarten vacation package, netting $11,000.
